Griggs of Vinheim (Not sure if Spoiler)

Normally the Basement Key, according to the wiki, will open the door that allows you to talk to Griggs of Vinheim for the first time, thus getting him as a merchant at Firelink Shrine. I just went to release him, and the Basement Key did not work on the door basically.

Anyone else have this problem? I did make sure I have the Basement Key before you ask.

Its the residences Key you need. It can be aquired from the undead merchant in the burg

Weird that the master key does not work. I'll have to try that when I get out of Blight Town. XD

I know what you mean..... but I think the master key is not the be all end all of keys.... strange that it unlocks

Still not entirely sure how a capable magician like Griggs can find himself so easily foiled by a lock on a door... :roll:

Even more so for Logan

At least Logan is in a small cage limiting his movements, Griggs is in a proper room, barricaded by a simple wooden door.

At the very least he could try to shoulder charge the door open.

With the education he has he can't be bothered.

Maybe he just doesnt like dogs?
