Instant Block

Has anyone ever tried to do this? It ridiculously hard and there are probably better options than to do it but I was curious if anyone has ever tried it. I only remember seeing it once in a video and that was on accident.

:shock: ???? What is instant block?
Is it the thing where you block right when something hits and you don't get pushed back?

You tap the block button perfectly so it just blocks their weapon taking no stamina and no pushback or anything. I did it once by accident in the forest, and Unforeseen and I practiced it once. He got a couple and I got none.

If you can pull it off, you can insta-block, then walk around and BS them (with slower weapons). I've done it a few times, but only in practice mode.

I do it often enough on enemies, but its much harder on players, like a super parry timing.

I've been thinking that it would be hella useful against spears and such.

If I could pull off perfect blocks I could pull off parries, and those are more effective.

I was thinking something more along the line of spears.
But yeah it's not really useful for anything except for confusing the crap out of your enemy causing them to accuse you of hacking.
