I for one will not buy this if they expect me to spend 40$, i dont care how much i like this game. If they release the 15$ DLC Oct26th i will buy that for sure, even though i still feel the price should be lowered to 10$. I nit pick, but big companys have become more and more sleazy. You guys have to hold back temptation and speak with your wallets, i know you wont though -_-

Hard copy was announced long time ago, back when they were still breaking down the stone wall to see what the DLC had to offer. Old news is rather old.

EDIT: Just thought about this: The hard copy is likely to contain different coding. So your vanilla data most likely won't work unless there's a transfer option but it seems unlikely. If they do release a hard copy of PTD then you'll be able to switch between the original and "nerfed" versions. I see this as a plus.

agreed. Id be very happy to see all console players start from scratch so we'd have a buffer period that would either turn of griefers and gankers or at least force them to re earn thier items .

50$ is pretty cheap for the game with the DLC included.

I payed 75Euro when it came out and only got the vanilla game and some crappy artbook lol....

And damn i just checked my usual game website where i buy all my games and they got the PTDE for xbox, release date: 31 december 2012.................

you may not have permission to view this page." but its still the facebook page. Is that the plain Dark Souls page with like 180,000 friends or Official Dark Souls that has about 100,000. From the Official Dark Souls page i found this quote from who ever manages the page:
