    Can't kill it with arrows, they won't go through the wheel. Have even tried to kill it with wrath of the gods while running on top of the wheel, but that only resulted in my death.
    The dog will sometimes spawn below the wheel, but haven't tried to kill it there.

    Soul spear has the ability to enter the prison cells in the beginning of the asylum. Maybe that would kill the doggy

    If it weren't for the fact that dogs in Soul games have proved time and again how evil they are, I'd say this is on the same moral level as considering killing Solaire.
