There are multiple threads about this already.
But here I go again, once more into the breach:
"A retail edition of the Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition including Dark Souls original game and the new in game content -Artorias of the Abyss- will be coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 on October 26th.
The additional content will also be available as a paid DLC 'Artorias of the Abyss' the very same day for owner of the original Dark Souls game on Xbox 360 and PlayStation3." This was quoted from their Dark Souls FB page. Which means:
- A PtD edition for consoles and the DLC coming October the 26th.
However. This was not seen by a lot of people for the following reason. Later it was stated:
" Dark Souls: Prepare
to Die Edition will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 in
Europe and Australasia on October 26th."Overall:
A PtD Edition is slated for release October 26th. Along with the DLC the same day. So far this has only been confirmed for Europe and Australasia. This does not mean that it definitely won't come out for NA then as well, but so far there has been no information on it. In regards to them saying what they had said about misspeaking. That was in relation to an FAQ they posted that was only about the Japanese version of the game which happened to include the release date October 25th, and so people assumed it was for all regions.
Hopefull that has cleared it up... For the last time
