120 Burg is lame

On ps3 btw. I wont get started on the armor choices but SLB grant really?

I have seen some guys recommend burg to players new to the pvp scene. I can without a doubt say that this is a bad idea to recommend. Guess its back to FCs, level 60 random invasions for me.

holy crap burg has always been full of try hards and never go wither if you wanna have fun, might as well go to the forest. dude i was cooping in sen's last night and you invaded, i was killing the titanite demon when i had to haul *** back to the other side of the tart pit then i saw you try to sneak up on the host and since you didnt see me i just had to bs your ***, i was full dragon with DGA btw, sorry.

That's why I prefer to host. RSS duelers are usually good guys.

The Burg can be hit or miss. The buffed Grant was a glitch they took advantage of.

Yeah, burg has been on a decline recently. It's why I've started going at lower SLs as a host. At 55 you can get some decent fights, and 99 is where the hits and misses start. I'll prolly make an 80 duelist for burg exclusively.

Reim i got summoned by 2 gankers just now sir and I was about to kill the hornet bkga using white phantom after his host flasked him twice but then....glitched dbs...3 uses..

For me it has been a lot more miss than hit

I just go there to fart atound now. I spend hours there yesterday just trying weird *** weapon combos. It was awesome.

So someone using a SLB Zwei like a BSS isn't normal? No wonder why I keep loosing in the Burg....lol I actually OHKO parry'd that glitching fool but ya lately the Burgs been lame as hell!!!

But Lord I do host there a lot at 120 and I never seen your sign or hardly anyone I know....probably cause I'm constantly dealing with cheap vaders I suppose

Low level Gravelording is my new kick... SL 30 in Parish last night was great.

A few BS fishers, but several good fighters, and being a Gravelord, you see the same players coming into your world. Usually the BS fishers don't come back when they get destroyed, but the good players do.

I know I have had a blast with my sl 20 GL...but the thing is you never know if the guys going to have a normal like +10 weapon or an elemental....so I have to keep a +10 rapier and a chaos +5 equipped...then I let them hit me and go from there lol!!!

I know how you feel. Yesterday in the burg caused me to ragequit dark souls until the new patch comes out.

After 1000+ hours with this game, the idiots really don't get to me anymore, but I nevertheless avoid the popular PvP areas. Burg, Dark Anor, Kiln are all a write-off.

Staying lower level and hosting and/or Gravelording can lead to some fun times... I've started building SL/area specific Gravelord toons with unique play styles for the circumstances (i.e. Depths = SL 30 ninja). Keeps things fresh.

Undefeated in the Burg? You must rock at PvP.

As far as invading, I'm having a blast at 40 and 55 in Anor Londo. You never know what your are going to run up against, and it is usually 3 vs 1.

Hmmm, nothing wrong with fishers just counter bs them till they learn, as for gangers go up that ladder or were the undead merchant is and kill them off 1 by 1...

whats is making me rage is that in the last few days i've been ganked there with host + white/gold phantom and the worst host + red phantom

Yeah, it seems like it's all the rage these days to gank with a red phantom. :|

i'm so *** mad, i don't know how many times i invaded a ganker with a red phantom, and they were never the same player

after some friendly co op I have cooled off once again

I have been doing what reim suggested with the mid level 50s invasions. everyone's still BB'd and strong, but the 70 less levels really seems to cut a lot of the sh*t out.

thanks for your suggestions on countering the burg, but those things do not always work when you consider lag, decently intelligent gankers, and immortal hackers.

I'll be reserving the sl 120 stuff for FCs, sl 40-60 invasions have been far more fun and I still get a challenge with multiple enemies who are legitimately questing and not vader farming/ ganking. I have gotten a fair few hosts who were like 40 levels higher as well :o

Haha, this must be PS3 Burg you are talking about Burg is the only place on Xbox you can have decent duels anymore without fightclubs.

There are many ganking reds in the Forest too. I'm glad you are having fun with the mid-level invading. I never thought it would be fun, until billy made me get out and do it.
