Major glitch

So i started up dark souls, loaded up my char and this is what i found:


Anyone have any clue what it is?
EDIT: i restarted my game and everything was back to normal, but id still like to know what caused it, if anyone has a clue that is

Have you ever used glitches on your character before?

did you turn off the console without quitting the game first?

Looks like something in the graphics drawing process got majorly screwed up.

How old is your console's/pc's graphics card?

I might have done that, quit to the menu but alt tabbed and closed it, might not have waited long enough >.>

its not a huge problem, just want to make sure it doesnt happen again

long as you quit to menu it should be fine, and seeing as you're on pc it wont be glitching consequences..

Sounds like it's probably your pc struggling to run the game or something

It looks like a graphics issue to me. If I were you I'd check my graphics card drivers to make sure they're up to date and running properly, and maybe get the relevant PC's graphics card checked as well.

The last time I got a weird graphics problem like this my laptop's graphics card died shortly after (and those things are EXPENSIVE to replace >_>").

My laptop's about to die, so I might not reply for a bit

- Could be corrupted files, if it is you'd need to reinstall. Or if you have the steam version. Verify the game files.

- Could be your graphics card overheating, try checking it's temperature to see if it's higher than it should be.
