Guardian Soul

I did a bit of spoiler research on the Guardian Soul and to my surprise no one has found its usage yet lol. It seems you can't use it to forge a weapon, and Snuggly doesn't want it either. Its usage could be similar to Gwyn's Soul, where you have to be rank 1 Sunbro to trade it. My only clue could be trade it to Alvina the cat. Has anyone tried it? If you find the the purpose put it on a big spoiler box please.

I'm trying to get to level 3 in dragonbro, if it pops up, I'll let you know.

MAYBE if you get to 100% (100 humanities, scales, etc) you can give the soul and all your other characters can start at level 3 in that covenant (when you reach it)! OH YEAH!

Yeah, but considering how people usually use covenants, and how often people don't give 100 away, maybe?

Giving it to Alvina sounds smart. Any FH's around to confirm?

I don't know why no one has tried giving it to the Chaos Covenant. Come on bro! Chaos? Demons? Guardian Soul? Guardian resembles demons?

maybe you have to use the soul during a boss fight?? like in the abyss fighting 4 kings? agianst Sif?

Confirmed sources from FROM, the soul was originally inserted to make a weapon, but it was taken out of the game before the weapon was actually made, and since they already made the sprite and description etc. they just left the soul in the game.

The only use of it is to gain souls, and to look at the description.

You probably won't choose to believe it, but it is true. "Pics or it didn't happen" etc.
I'm just informing you that the search is futile.

There is no use for it in the current version of the game.

I already read that, but I don't believe it.

Here's to hoping it's not true! Sadly though, remember the pendant.

I'm not saying I believe the (non) source, but I'd bet that it's true anyway. It's fun to keep searching though, I guess.

I know people will treat this like the Pendant, but the difference is that the Pendant has a covenant-related purpose: it's used to level up as a Darkmoon. True that you need an invisible bird's help to do it, but it still gives the Pendant a clear use. All the Guardian's soul does is give you souls... which pretty much everything in the game does.

maybea patch will come out and fix it then... also can you give stuff to snuggly right after you kill the asylum demon? if so give her the pendant right off the bat and see if anythings different....

I do that every round with my main, but you probably mean do it right away in NG having taken the Pendant as a starting gift. That, I haven't done.

I think I've done it, but it didn't do anything different.

Maybe it gives different amount of souls depending on your NG or level? I mean many players probably don't use it, or use it and not think about it.

Did someone try trading it to Quelaag's Sister? The description says something about demons....
