by Jypson Fri Sep 14, 2012 9:27 pmI've started NG+ and went to fight Sif...but he wasn't there. The doors were closed but no fog. When I went in, he wasn't there. I've tried resting, restarting, but still nothing. This happen to anyone else? Know a fix?

Based upon what you described in your post, there appears no fog once the gate is opened unless you've died once. Keep in mind you need to go forward to the big grave.
Although i'm sure you've tried, based upon what you wrote in your post, perhaps you missed that, otherwise, goodluck with your problem :/

Yeah, I went all around inside the area, but he never showed up. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Maybe you can't see Sif until you beat Magnus? Anyone else can disprove my statement?
Check if you can be invaded there, that should be a sign, if you cannot, then you cannot fight the boss, and this theory may have some truth to it.

No one has told him to touch the sword as doors shut = no cut scene yet, therefore no fog (after dying) and certainly no Sif.

I beat Sif before doing the DLC because I had to place the lordvessel and I wanted to be a Darkwraith.

The other day I was doing forest PvP - used a red eye stone to invade a world. Boss gate was open, no fog gate --- was weird, as the boss needs to be alive to invade (or that should be the case), and if the doors had been open and sif was still alive - the fog gate should be up no?
If he had opened the gate but not triggered the cut scene, would the fog gate still appear for invaders?

Fog doesn't appear until after you have triggerd the sif cutscene.
