Not expecting myself to be able to block a two-handed blow, i try to bash the undead against the wall behind him by casting force!

Taking advantage of his stunned state, i two-hand the battleaxe for extra impact and swing it at him, hoping i can make quick work of him.

You swing your axe with all your might, and the warrior staggers and crashes into the wall. You give two more hacks before you decide you better give him some space for your own safety.

perform a quick shield bask into his face before the can react. then finish him with 1 or 2 quick swings.

retreat with shield up back up the stairs, when at the top of the stairs, get force ready to cast as soon as the hollow comes in range.

uphill advantage exists in this game right?

Yes. In the first post, I even have [HA] and [EHA] labeled as status effects. With EHA meaning the height difference is too great for combat.

I drink the 2 remaining estus flasks to regain some health, and go to take a look at the small open plaza right outside of this room.

You recover 300 HP. You then walk into the small plaza and find a sickly looking man sitting there around a rug with many different treasures on it. He begins to speak.

I buy a set of chain gloves (i believe they're officially called leather gloves) and the mysterious key from him for a total of 20 copper coins.
