Anyone still play Oblivion?

Just installed Oblivion to my pc and im wondering if anyone still plays oblivion since skyrim came out (Not a big fan of skyrim personally)

Yes, and i love toying around with Midas Magic, its a mod.

My fave thing to do was solo the arena in the first day. I've managed to become champion on day 1 before. But I dont play it anymore. Honestly the combat bored me.

I do, don't have it on pc though. I actually love the atmosphere in Oblivion over the one in Skyrim, it's just so beautiful. I'm just having a hard time getting used to the graphics again due to too much playing Skyrim.

Yeah, I have 2 copies on Xbox, 1 one PC, and I just bought it and Morrowind on Steam for **** and giggles. Can't wait to get back into it, Skyrim doesn't have anything on OB.

Yeah my computer sadly cant run skyrim very well. But it runs Oblivion very smoothly, its strange. I honestly love the graphics in oblivion as well, but i also love skyrim's. YOU CANNOT deny that skyrim has amazing graphics, honestly the first time on the cart, when i saw the mountains and snow i was in awe. I could tell bethesda had worked hard on this game, and this scene. But Oblivion is far better in my opinion.

I played Oblivion to death and loved it. Reading these posts made me want to play it again. Funnily enough I'm giving Dark Souls a rest at the moment and have started playing Skyrim again and I'm loving it.

I'm disappointed with one aspect in Skyrim though. I played both Morrowind and Oblivion as a Dark Elf Battle Mage but try as I might I couldn't create a Dark Elf female character that I liked the look of for Skyrim (vanity). My Dark Elf in Oblivion was gorgeous even if it did have blue skin and red eyes. On the other hand the first time I saw my character in Morrowind I thought it was something I had to kill.

A question. How important is the way your character looks when you play a game like these?

I CAN'T play a game unless i'm happy with the appearance of my character. In Dks i waste about 2-3 hours working only on the face, i usually end up starting over, no kiddin'. I can very rarely enjoy a game unless i like the appearance of my character.

I've never played with a beast class character in the Elder Scrolls, although I did quite fancy being a Khajit at one point. I hope the next one is located in a non-human province. Either the High Elf kingdom (the name escapes me) or Elsewyr.

Another thing. I quite fancy getting together with a male follower in Skyrim but so far haven't found one I fancied. Male characters have some really good looking gals to choose from like Lydia.

Summerset isle is likely as the next game imo. The aldemiri domain will probably fall due to your actions.

But admit it, Black Marsh would be an amazing setting.

Isnt TES Online in the making ? Its supposed to be huge featuring all of Tamriel with Cyrodil being a giant PVP Area . Also Races are divided in 3 "Coveanants" .

About Oblivion:
I had over 200 Hours worth of Gameplay on the PS3 being an Orc (remember PS3 so NO MODS!)
I bought it again for the PC for like 20 bugs and just goofed around with Mods .
I bought Skyrim but the Combat is just so much inferior to Dark Souls that i didnt even bother with it yet XD

I love me some Oblivion, I had every achievement for it on the 360 and clocked in over 1000 hours on it. But I don't use my 360 anymore and I only have Skyrim for my ps3, but I still mess around with the mod creator and the mods that I've found on texnexus on the PC version.

The only thing is I haven't played Morrowind in quite sometime and my favorite races are the Argonians and the Dark elves. So I'm gonna have to play as a dark elf seeing as the beast races have a serious disadvantage with armors in Morrowind.

^I'm also looking forward to the Elder Scrolls online. I just hope they don't muck it up.

I loved Oblivion on my PS3, always played as a argonian or a a bosmer. I liked sneaking around ans sniping people with my poisoned bow.
I'm going to buy it for PC soon as well.

@Bcc Based on what I've heard about Black Marsh from Tolvo, a game set there would consist of you walking ff your boat and getting killed by an argonian within 3 seconds for looking at him wrong. You would be using you level 50 skyrim character, and be completely helpless.

Well for all of you that are hoping to buy oblivion there are alot of "other" ways to get oblivion with the ratings and the amount of time it has been out.
