Something like Demons Souls. Where Soulsuck or invading and then killing yourself would decrease your soul level by one.

Maybe the dlc has something, but i've been steering clear of those 3 letters till i can dig in myself. I doubt it though considering the abuse demon souls showed. Although the BB glitch is much worse and easier.

No there is no real way to de-level yourself like Demon's Souls. There might be in the new content but from what I've seen, I don't think there is anything there either that can de-level you. Sorry. Kind of wish there was before putting some levels into resistance when I was naive and didn't know it was a useless stat but to late.
