Darkroot Forest PVP protocol as an invader

When you invade as a Darkwraith and you see a Forest Hunter invader (or vice versa) do you both ally together and try to kill the host OR do you also consider the other invader as fair game?

I make a split second decision: is he too close? How about the host?
Have either one of them made an movements towards me?
Is this the darkroot garden?

I can't relatively declare what my scoring rubrix is, but the TLDR is that i may or may not attack him depending on the solar axis of the sun.

Another question...is he working with the host? Does the host have help? Is the host ganking?

If the 1st...kill him. If the 2nd or 3rd trust him....for now.

It does kind of depend on the situation, however, i usually try to work together, though i never trust them, can't take the risk. But like i said, it kind of depends, if i face gankers it's a definite yes of course, but if the host fights with honor i try not to do to much.

I prefer to watch (as creepy as that sounds). I keep away and pull out my binoculars and watch them go at it.

Maybe it's because I didn't grow up with this kind of tech, but I'm damn near in awe when I realize I'm sitting in my comfy chair in the states watching a battle between people who might be on opposite ends of the Earth, knowing that depending on who wins, I'll face the other. Amazing the things we take for granted.

There is not an official protocol. It kinda keeps things interesting too. Personally, as an invader, I would prefer you attack the host, but the is far from required.

Technically, as a Darkwraith, you are supposed to kill the host and any white phantoms. But, those are rules; rules are scoffed at in the forest. the only real rule is do whatever the hell you want.

I will not attack darkwraiths on sight. But I won't let my guard down. If he decides to attack me, I'll fight back.

Don't turn your back on anyone in the forest. Also, if they bow to "make nice" make sure they're a good distance away before returning the favor. It could be a trap! I've seen plenty of reds working against us blues.

When in doubt....JUBOKKO!!! Sure, they can't hurt the red but they can make it pretty messy for the host and any whites or golds to get involved.

Heres great advice: Trust no one you're in the forest there are no rules there unless you decide to play by your own code of ethics but understand no one else will. Proceed with caution and do your job. Never sit back you are there for a reason and purpose and you should try to accomplish it regardless of the circumstances. I once invaded and saw a red being ganked so a ran to help. We end up killing both the summoner and his helper but as soon as I turned my back the red tried to run up behind and BS me. Though it was too late because I was ported out I learned my lession about honor amongst thieves...there is none. LOL. Only trust your friends, or at least some of them because they could be jerks as well. LOL. Just my opin....good luck.
