Need advice on something different.

Hi all,

So I've got to the point where I wanna change how I play overall. I've been watching some let's plays to try and get my creativity going and I've started to wonder about bows.

I really wanna try and make a bow character work with a good straight sword as backup if needed. I feel like I wanna go the faith route but my head is starting to spin after staring at the character planner for about 5 hours now lol.

I'm currently debating this build : http://tinyurl.com/9excbta but I'm not sure about the lack of vit. I want to maximize the damage output of the occult composite bow but at the same time I don't wanna sacrifice needed stats.

Like my faith to dex ratio in relation to the bow damage. Is 45 faith enough; would 50 be better - or would 30 be enough. Same for dex, my feeling is cast speed is needed but at the same time the build has little in the way of mid combat casting.

Can anyone give some advice on the best way to optimize the stats to give the best overall damage - or just to tell me I'm spending too much time planning this out lol...

Switch to a balder side sword for better dex scaling. Give up the RoFaG for Havel's ring and dump extra faith above 30 and extra end into vit. Try to keep your soul level 100 if you are buying the new content on console.

~ @Steel Dragon74 : I'll keep that in mind as an evolution / rebuild for when I get bored of my SL100 attempt.
