K, we have less than 48 hours to prepare for it and the inevitable patch that comes with it. What do YOU gamer of Dark Souls and chosen undead of Lordran plan to do in preparation? How will you go about the DLC, new character? Old character? Will you even get it!? Just what is your plan for "Abyss Week", the time between the 23rd and 30th, the time where you know that the hype is going to bring in the new weapons left and right across all Lordran: Burg, Forest, Woods, Battle of Stoicism., etc. Will Dark Souls change forever!? *End drama*

Well for me, Im lvling my Artorias character. then, once I have all my things ready, to the forest to troll hunters. Maybe some stoicism battles.

I have some toons around lvl35 that i will use(Some of them with base vitality,it will be fun

I can't decide if I want to beat the dlc with my mage first and get pursuers, or get all the stuff for my arty build first. I can't wait for the Abyss sword.

I'm also still not positive how i will go about my first run of the DLC. I'm thinking of just planning a SL50 build, and using that to do the DLC but start the game from scratch. You mentioned adds, but i have barely seen any advertisements. It is kind of disappointing how bad namco bandai has treated its souls fans, i really hope fromsoft either sets them straight or chooses another publisher for their next game. the official NA Dks site still says the new content is PC exclusive...
