I am prepared.. I was prepared to buy the DLC, but I think after playing for a bit I am prepared to return the game and get my 20 bucks back. it not even just back stabs. Seems like everybody complained about people wearing heavy armor and DWGR flipping, but now that medium people cant flip the guys who don't wear heavy armor but still at 50% equip like me are screwed. If I wanted to be at 25% i could only wear a thief mask.. that is retarded.

You should sacrifice something in order to have fast mobility,thank god they fixed that damn ring.

Seems to me Andy is that your still new to the game and dont fully understand it, your not making optimized builds, and you were dependent on the DWGR.

Just learn to adapt to the new changes, or if you were proactive you should of know about it already and could be better prepared.

Has anyone else noticed that the new Duke's Archive golem was put into the game by the patch?

It does not, of course, drop that special item. Insignificant really, but I found it interesting. That's technically some free content. Yay From!

p.s. I will be camping at the Duke's entrance bonfire all night, where I hope to see many other anxious souls roasting their marshmellows.

Another thing, does anyone know if the soul-retrieval and humanity-regain messages were changed back to their gibberish forms on purpose? Instead of "Humanity restored" and "Souls regained" (or whatever that one said...something similar) it now says "Restored to human" and "You recovered." This seems odd. A mistake, I wonder?

Not as silly as "You defeated!" but still weird. I only started playing in May after I finished Demon's Souls so I don't know if these were the original forms anyway.

many people prefered the old format for those messages, because they were silly, guess from thought so too!

you do know that a lot of gankers used the hornet ring and a lot of pvpers in the burg do too. im glad it got nerfed since gankers will go with either wolf' or hornet ring now that they dont have the option of the flip.

I've just done some co-op on the Gaping Dragon and wouldn't you know it, "YOU DEFEATED" is back! Haha.

I'm crying tears of joy, finally I beat a ganker with bkga!!! also I can finally use my chaos blade! with no worries, there are still cheaters, but their strategies are much scarse!

Can't say i ever thought poise was really a factor. Every single PVP fight ive ever had literally every one has gone down exsactly the same way. they wait and wait and either get a ridculus lag stab or they just get behind me and bs me. the majority of them are in rather light gear, and in most cases i get one shotted.

OMFG THIS!!! I could not aggree more I always seem to get lag backstabbed and left wondering how did I get backstabbed when they were clearly infront of me. BS basically ruins PVP for me but oh. Lucky PVE in this game is really good and its fun to help people with bosses.

Happened ALOT to me too, really makes PvP'ing a real chore and annoying at the best of times. I also prefer PvE'ing, and as a Sunbro, I like helping out other players, be it whatever they require. Besides, i decided to invade someone last week, guy sorted ME out in less than 10 seconds. Think that's a sign i am not good (more like crappy) at PvP. But the lag really destroys the experience.

Some have, some haven't. A couple of my bros got the patch yesterday but I didn't get the update. Tried deleting the old patch to force an update but when it updated it only gave me 1.05

In case you don't know yet, it is exactly 350.57 MB.

I'm scared to turn on my xbox. The store updates at 5am every day, but no one has screamed "it's out!!11!!!!11!" on the forums yet. I don't want to check and be disappointing -_-.

just checked and its on the american xbl, atleast in one of my accounts, but my main one, that is from Brazil, the DLC is not out yet, f***** microsoft >
