You Died, You Died, YOU DIED!!! Share death experiences.

Any of you guys have any interesting experiences in losing a butt load of humanity and souls from the enemies or bosses in the DLC or game in general.

I lost 99 humanity and over 30 million souls on Manus. I was trying to pick up my blood spot but I kept circling around it. Didn't equip my Ring of Sacrifice, even though I HAD ONE, I thought about it and said to myself "I don't need it, I'm a boss." Yep...I was mad. I took Manus too lightly and paid for it. I was playing with my Dex PVP build at 125 on NG+ as Ciaran, with her full armor upgraded and the Gold Tracer as well. I was really mad but I took a deep breath and said "It happens, this is Dark Souls, you will die."

So how about you guys? I've had dumb deaths as well where I just walk off the edge becaus I wasn't paying attention and then did it again and lost everything. Haha, rule #1, pay attention in this game. Haha.

I just lost 91 Humanity and 3 million souls (non glitched) on Manus lol. I have starting Vitality and Endurance, it's not going so well

Fighting the 4 Kings on NG+ for the first time. I just wasn't fast enough to kill the kings and pretty much I had my butt handed to me. Died about 15-20 times on that boss fight alone.

I got Raped 15-20 times on Standard... MARKED FOR LIFE.

The Four Kings are pretty hard.. I still haven't mastered dodge timings and shield timings for the bosses. I don't fight them and see their attacks, usually find a way to just swing away at them and kill them as fast as possible. That's why Manus got me off guard cause I didn't know his move set. He's pretty beast.

Fell off an edge at the end of the township so I'm going to get my souls.
There's a long, thin bridge in the Township with a mage at the end that I need to go through.
I roll through all attacks except one at the end which takes a nice chunk of health off. Then I immediately die from some random spell.
The mage falls over and I see a f***ing vagrant right behind it.
Thankfully I switched my RTSR for a sacrifice ring.

Bed of Chaos.

Sometimes this boss can be defined by the quote, "Easier said than done." This boss is relatively easy, but you can easily die to this boss. I've died at least 4 times, in each, but not all, of my playthroughs. This is either because of being swiped into a hole, being one-shotted by the flames, or miscalculating that jump in the third phase.

Yeah Bed of Chaos is annoying like that. Even the developers said they misfired with that boss fight. Usually high stability shields can fully block most of his swipes but they can still knock you into that crumbling ground.

And Ice, for that mage at the end of the bridge. Try "sniping" him from the top of the tower where the mimic was. Makes it a bit easier.

Gwyn on NG+++. Never have i died that many times in a row...

And i've died a lot of times.

I have yet to go past NG+ since I heard that the difficulty change is the most extreme on the first NG+ but I want to try it sometime and see how far I can go without lvl up from 125.

Gwyn is especially difficult if you don't parry him and just try and dodge and block his attacks.

The same thing happened to me, except on NG++. Gwyn had slaughtered me at least 30 times. It was 1:30 am and I was losing my sanity.

And people say he's easy...

He's only easy if you parry him or bring in some summoned help. Otherwise, he is very aggressive and can hit like a truck.

Speaking of more death experiences, one of my most messed up deaths was against the Moonlight Butterfly. All because of that input lag glitch... :x

And i've almost always sucked at parries.

Though i'm kind of getting the hang of it now, i refuse ever to face Gwyn again. EVER! Atleast solo.

And if you think that's bad, the first time i played the naked hollows in New Londo killed be 10 times in a row.

Lost 84 humanity and around 3.5M souls.
That shouldn't be a problem but the way I lost it was hilarious.

I was in Sanctuary, NG++, exploring Royal woods. I died there few times but managed to get humanity and souls each time. THEN, I decided to go for Secret Rite at Catacombs since 10 flasks at NG++ seemed weak.
Ok, I left my bloodstain somewhere in woods (was dead by those two stone thingies before elevator to Arty) and happily ventured back into Catacombs to get Secret rite. Rushed to Vamos and was thinking about scellies on tha wheels and should I fight them or just run. Unfortunately, I choose second option which resulted in a blood trace, still visible to date, going from Vamos all the way to fog gate. One of the scellies stuck to my back and painted floor in red, all the way.

I got my Secret rite and have around 7 humanity to use if I stuck somewere or else I'm going back to rat farming

Haha yeah I've left blood stains somewhere thinking it would be fine, it's safe there, nope. I try to be more conscious about putting on rings of sacrifice if I am doing something dangerous or in dangerous area.

But I always forget and think I am more boss than the game.

I am usually not.

Damn it, ring! And even I was aware enough to put it in my bags to be ready for use... Damn it!

I tried to kill NG+7 Artorias naked and armed only with a broadsword. I died. Many times. But, in the end, he finally died too. Sometimes he killed me almost as fast as Capra Demon.

In the new DLC NG++++ with my 626 toon I was only killed by Artoris 1 and by manus 1 and the new dragon 1 the last two deaths were because I didnt realize you cant cut off manus tail and two the new dragon only leaves one really good opening to attack its tail.

I had just reached Anor Londo, after co-op'ing the Iron Golom for an hour or so with awesome summoning rates. I had 17 humanity and 160K souls which I was hoping to save to buy twinkling titanite. Not a lot compared to what you guys have mentioned, but easily the most I had ever had by far. I was desperate to reach the blacksmith, but I had to get past those damned archers. I sat at the base of the steps after the first bonfire for what felt like forever looking for summons signs, but they rarely showed up, and the 2 people I was able to summon immediately BC'ed out (because I wasn't being invaded? Dunno. Was very aggrivating.). Got invaded twice by the same guy, funnest part of the whole night even though I didn't stand a chance.

Finally, I decided to go it alone. Wouldn't have waited so long normally, but I was desperate to save my souls. Got easily past the sentinals and the first set of lightning demons (38 INT + Crown of Dusk + Bellowing Dragoncrest + HSM rocks), but as I was standing on the walkway above the hiding demons figuring out my best approach, I got slammed by a dragon spear arrow. Dead. Dammit.

And this is where my brain shut off, which it always seems to when I have large quantities of souls on the line. I have gone down that elevator at the base of the bonfire a hujndred times. I know how it works. But for some reason I just sprinted into the damned hole before the platform rose. Splat.

I died to pinwheel once in NG ( the only time that i died for him and it was after anor londo :o ), went to fight him, didn't want the fight to be short was fooling around for a bit, out of nowhere 4 fireballs or something right in my face lol and bam i was dead so sad
