    Post by felclef Mon Oct 29, 2012 1:58 pm

    Hey, sup undeads!

    Is there any thread for ppl say their favorite spot for world PVPs?

    I was thinking about some kind of "my fav place to invade/being invaded (or arena) and the GMT hour I'm used to play", in each platform (x360, ps3, pc).

    If we already have a thread like this, please tell me! If don't, would it be a nice idea? happy

    I'm currently playin the PC version, but soon I will get the PS3 DLC and depending on the time, it's could be better to play in one or another... I really think we have more ppl who plays both a console and pc, or even all versions!

    ;* thx

    The Burg is usually hopping. I prefer the Butterfly Forest (less trolls there, but slower). Anor Londo is great for invading. Kiln is good, but there are more trolls there. And, of course, the Forest, if you have the stomach for that.

    @reim0027 and what about the idea of an "schedule" like post, table, don't know? For each network/platform, with the most common place?

    If we agree with a format for posting the info, it could be easy to extract this data and publish it to the community. What infos could be good?

    format: network; username; most common place; GMT interval
    e.g.: PSN; felclef; Kiln of the First Flame; 20:00-01:00

    Oolacile Township bonfire is good for hosting. You can barely finish one fight before another invader comes...

    Township is full of bs fishers on PS3, it's ridiculous, they should remove backstab from this game, everyone would be happy.

    Dark Anor Londo is good to host and invade, the burg is good, the Kiln, the forest I don't even consider pvping on that place anymore, that's hell dude, keep a distance. LOL

    I kind of fail to understand problems with BS? Everybody seems to cry over it but why? It's very easy to avoid, it's very easy to punish (including chain BS) and it's definitely not OP like that new dark magic or certain faith builds.
    I would rather get killed by master BSer then weak a$$ magic/faith spammer.

    Here is the reason I started the thread. I used to play on PS3, but PSN lag is an absurd. On the x360 live, the lag is far better, but a lot of hackers, editors, modders, whatever. And the PC is empty at SL100 and 100+ (the places with more action is in the start areas, like burg, but always hackers too).

    Then, I thought if we could make the schedule like thing, to play with guys of the forum... It's easier to found players here, who:
    - doesn't abuse of something just for winning;
    - doesn't hack, mod, etc;
    - are polite and won't say you are a piece of sh*t, after BSing you 3 times;
    - can train and discuss the results here in the forums...

    I always play with random ppl, most of then want to win so much that they turn into abusers, hackers or sore-losers...

    We are united somehow, but we don't know how to play with each other for fun, we only organize ranked championships and stuff... I thought about the freeplay and stuff...

    Something like that...

    if its to laggy there is nothing you can do, but i don't experience really bad lag that much. if you see a guy strafing towards you just strafe the same direction he is going but backwards then cut up right away and BS.

    Town ship is def the best place for PVP on PS3 it is almost to good. some times i can't even get out of the town ship when i log in and spring from the bonfire there is already a fog gate. makes invading there almost impossible.

    you just described the forums Fight club, just invite me or Reim on PSN and we will invite you to chat, we duel in the moonlight pit most nights because not everyone has DLC.

    and the lag really isn't that bad

    So
    you are saying its BS aint easy because its easy to punish but Dark
    Magic is OP? Please, Dark Magic is as easy to evade as BS are to punish
    if not easier.

    Hylian wrote:How do you avoid bs on the ps3? i can't do it, it's too laggy

    PSN
    is more laggy because its more international than xbox360. When you
    play on PSN you basically play with peeps from all around the world, and
    when you play on XBL you play mainly with Americans and Europeans.

    My favorite place to invade is the Catacombs at level 25. Non-stop invasions and the trerrain is excellent for making the fights unpredictable and fresh.

    Hummm I didn't you had to pull back, i was simply circling on the same direction. I heard if you go on the opposite direction might work sometimes.

    About the invasions it's true, now that I'm going to NG+, I won't kill Manus so that I get invaded all the time
