It's not about loosing them, it's about loosing them in such a cheap way, those stupid sons of a MOTHERxd just spam everything until your death! I'm always close to kill them before then spam their AoE attack. besides i don't know why I can't summon but I can be summoned.... I know dark souls is supossed to be hard but those idiots are the cheapest and lowest this game has T.T

>_>; Again, why not spend them before hand? and they're honestly kinda easy. Jusrt equip a magic-resistant armor, which are mostly light, flippy ring, and your toughest weapon. then twohand and go to waist. Dodging their attacks is so easy it's embarrassing./

I'm a dex character so I can't pack quite a punch, also i got the dingy chest with chester's gauntlets and leggins, I even use power within. i got slaughtered so I decided to not take any phantoms, to my surprise it was easier but how about in next playthrough? any recommendations?

Dude they are totally killable by dex characters

They're totally killable with anyone low level with an elemental weapon. All I do is level my strength to 16 and dex to 14 and use weapons like a fire uchigatana or that beast of a weapon a fire gargoyle halberd. Either one can be a +9 or +10 and they are very doable with a +5 if you don't have the large flame ember. Equip the crest shield to block that homing magic spell, take some grass and make sure you can fast roll so you can kill each one fast before another shows up. When I figured this out I have absolutely no idea how anyone can think tanking this boss is still a good idea. You spend so much time healing that it just leaves you more wide open to gang bangs off them later which can lead to instant kill if their swords hit you right dealing that massive damage that they can do.

I just was not really preped for them on NG+ And didn't even think of the magic resist armor I had. Now on to trying to kill Seath!

Re: The four Bastards....
I was killing them up to NG++. Light set, 2h +15 CMW Iaito, sprint up close and kheeel. If they do their melee attack, roll through it.
