While invading in the township my game/xbox often freezes on the loading screen while loading back into my world. Anyone else have this problem? Sorry if this has been posted before.

Hmmmmm..... I cant say i've experienced this before.. Did you try shutting off your xbox?
If it doesnt get fixed than maybe there is something wrong with the game disk.

Could be idk. Its only a minor annoyance. I just hope it doesn't corrupt my saves... I'd prob be done with dark souls for good if that happened.
