I'm guessing your disc is defective. Ive had freezing issues before (not recently though) but it was always at different places in the game.

Could be your disc or PS3, that's not normal though.

I've never had mine freeze :/
Could be the game data, I'd try un-installing and re-installing, and see if the problem returns (although I'm fairly sure you lose your saves doing this). If the problem still returns, I'd say you have a defective disc.
