Wow, you all are making me feel very freaking old. Uh... god I can't even begin to describe it, but it's hella good. It's from 1995 using 2d spirits, kinda like the old SNES. It's kinda like a greek epic, I really don't want to spoil it so if you want to know more you'll have to google it.

You can buy the first one for like 6$US on PSN, it hasn't be remastered either from what I was reading. You'll probably never play 2, it was highly limited in release US wise, it may not have gotten to Europe and goes for about 200$ on ebay and whatnot. I have not heard any plans for them to release it. 3-4 were meh and I hear 5 was good. There are several DS/PSP releases but 1 and 2 are practically the core of the series and what Suikoden is really about.

Emulator? I still own a PS1, and carry around all my cult classic games. I easily put several years of my life into that system.

I really wish they would at least rerelease 2. I don't care if they remaster them or not, but 2 was just as good and deserves just as much attention.

Actually I do kinda care. I like the style they used back then and think they should keep it that way maybe a slight engine/graphics update and fixing the text errors.

Yes I actually have heard of it but I never had the chance to add it to my collection. Sorry I was being slightly sarcastic about the emulator, I was aware of what it was and poking fun at myself for holding onto my PS1.

I remember Crash also, never did get into Rayman though. My case contains Front Mission 3, Vandal Hearts 1 and 2. FFT, FFIX, Suikoden 1 and 2, and finally Kings Field 1 and 2.

thats a pretty cool collection lol, don't have many 'cult' games but I love my FF8, Hogs of War and Legend of Dragoon, along with the game i played till it broke; tekken 3 XD

and right, thought it was strange you didnt know lol, i dunno where my ps1 is now.. probably hidden under games shelf or something
