I think it's possible as long as the developer and or writer actually puts good work into what he/she is doing. Weather it be book to film, film to game, game to book, or anything in between.

I'd say book to film is what transfers are actually good, as it allows room for imagination in it, but tranferring from visual media limits what you can do with it and that lack of poetic license can often stifle the production of whatever it is, no matter how much effort is put in.
Then again there's a one piece game in production and i really hope it's awesome and not just a fan boy trap.. too many of those hanginng around :pirat:

Do you mean that trying to adapt something like a game or a show into a novel or manga form would not be good no matter who attempted it?

No, I'm just saying it's more difficult to adapt visual media into another form of visual media because they can't do as much of their own thing with it as you can original stuff or changing novels into films
