1.06 and Quelana

She only appeared if you had a phyro + 10 before 1.05. 1.05 made her appear without any prerequest. Then something hapened to me after 1.06.

I was taking my knight through Blighttown. He was made after 1.06. Quelana was not there. I killed Quelaag and joined the Chaos Servents, and she is still not here. I have a phyro + 0. I haven't tried upgrading it yet.

This is the first time I've never had her appear after 1.05. She appeared for all of my other characters, but they were made before 1.06. Some of them even had a phyro + 0.

Did anyone else have this happen after 1.06 with a new character? If not, then was your phyro at + 10?

i always find her even if i don't have the pyro +10... maybe a weird bug or just bad luck?

Yeah, your pyro flame needs to be at least +10 in order for her to show up.

This has always been debated, and it is just not consistent. Sometimes ive needed a +10(slowly upgraded until she appeared), sometimes only +6/+7, then a few rare ones where she appeared just by me having an unupgraded glove(maybe cause i started as a pyro?).

The only guaranteed way is a +10 glove. There have been reports of her appearing without a +10, and without a glove altogether, but none have managed to pin down what triggers her appearance.
I've tried as a pyro with a non upgraded glove, but she wasn't there.

I saw her, in my, kill everyone I'm purple with a troll face build. Maybe if you go kill all other NPCs?

After patch 1.05 I've never needed to upgrade my phyro flame, and others have confirmed it. That's why it's so wierd. I think I'll try to upgrade it later. Hopefully that will make her come.

I had her show my last 2 games in a row and I didn't have a +10 in either. In fact in one of them I didn't have a pyro flame at all. I've heard all kinds of different claims but my money is on the theory that it's related to something subtle that's completely outside having to do with the pyro flame. What else is there to do before that point in the game that could be related and is optional? Maybe owning pyromancy? Do you own any pyro spells? Maybe she doesn't show up if you don't?

Or possibly talking with Lorentius after saving him? Did you go back to Firelink and speak with him after you saved him? There's a dialog there where he teaches you about what pyromancy is, maybe you need to have heard that dialog in order for her to show up. It could be so many different things.
