recomendation 40 dex, 30 faith. weapon and spell

For a build with 40 dex and 30 faith what would you suggest?
Til now Im using BSS and DSS, like them both...

additional info: this is a build for a sl 125, other stats are
40 endurance, 40 vit and 24 str. Starter class: thief

What other weapons could I use that goes well with that dex/faith?

Is great lightning spear worth it?

and for armor and shield? I was thinking on use Ornstein set just because looks cool... but what would you suggest me for PVP? cause... i keep sucking at pvp :'c

i dont have much advice except try out a bunch of different weapons and see which one you have the most fun and success using. With 40 dex, you can use any dex weapon and take advantage of scaling.

Great lightning spear rarely hits people when i use it in pvp, you have to manually aim it if you want to hit someone haha. I find it useful only in pve, or areas with water due to the aoe.

With regards to sucking at PvP...

In my experience getting better at PvP is really about playing more PvP. Which basically means serving your time getting your *** kicked over and over

If you can arrange PvP with another beginner and you practice with weak weapons this will fast track your progress. Get used to the lag issue, the basics and then how the backstabs & counters work and how parrying works. There's some great videos on youtube.

Until you get good at it, it won't matter that your build isn't optimised down to the last stat point.

There's dudes out there that could kill me with a sl 10 guy if they had a good elemental weapon cos they've played 1000s of hours and I've only played a fraction of that.

Id recomend using The gold Tracer and a Pike, The bleed and damage of the tracer is incredible and if you buff the bike with SLB you have something very very evil

There is ways to train bro by using weapons that are un-upgraded and by using just fist to practice backstabs and how to defend against them, just have a friend invade you.

Practice the PVP, die and die again. Join a covenant to do PVP. ( forest provides lots of varied situational practice)
I keep 2 types of weapons ready. ( especially in high invasion areas), one for the level monsters/boss and one when the invader shows. Why? Because some weapons suck at PVP. Especially if you are just starting . Lately I find more invaders die at the hands of my Bastard sword ( 1 raw and 1 divine ). Sunlight sword +10 buffed with charcoal/ fire also cuts em like they are butter,

pVp is an art.
And yes the GLS is worth it. ( but not very good at PVP. ( unless the invader stands still or is trapped)

Im already lvl 92, first playthrough... is it recomenden to get to lvl 120 on the first play trough...???

also... I'd like to get my hands on that gold tracer... but, dont have the dlc... nor credit card to buy it ja! and i've been reading that the dlc would ruin the game (it's glitched D:)

I would almost think that using a weapon which isn't commonly used in PvP gives you an advantage. If you use a weapon people see all the time, they know the attack patterns inside and out. Hit them with something uncommon, and they might not see it coming.

Hmmmmm maybe you should think outside the box maybe its not the weapon SL , maybe try a new playstyle be really aggressive or calm.

maybe practice Bs or parries.
