    Ok, so i am going to give you a semi-live feedback on my entire course of the DLC during this thread.

    My build is Hornet Ring + Fog Ring, no armor, save for a sack, a Greatsword (The ultra greatsword Tarkus uses), Dragonslayer Greatbow, with offhands being Sorcerers Catalyst, and Moonlight Butterfly horn

    I have no armor, 700 HP, and 2 attunement slots holding non-crystal versions of soul spear.

    OMG! WHAT THE HELL WAS THA- WHY IS THERE A BOSS RIGHT OUTSIDE THE FIRST BONFIRE! I CAN'T EVEN LEAVE! I'M TRAPPED!

    Rynn is over her head already. I'm on my 20th try of the sanctuary guardian, only got it halfway down so far.

    Did i mention I'm on NG+4?

    Ok... next death, now I'm noticing something that is either a bug, or an epic way to tell me this battle is meant to be hard.
    My Estus Flasks, they have frozen at 20. whenever i drank, my estus didn't go down.
    Also I hit it with my offhand spear, hoping it would go better then trying to hit it with my slow weapon. Did 30 damage, freaked out.
    I have no plan now.

    I am now up to 59 deaths and have never gotten it below 40%.

    Yeah everything in the DLC is VERY resistant to magic....Artorias is even worse than the guardian. Good Luck!!! cheers

    I finally killed it on round 65. I got it's tail too.
    I now can move on to the rest of the DLC. I crawl forward slowly and hope not to die.

    I shot at it with my dragon great bow.

    Ok, so, I was trying to fight Artorias and i ragequit yesterday. He kills me in one hit after i get his HP below 75%. Now that I'm awake, I'm giving it another shot.

    I have resolved my offhand weapon is useless, and replaced my Offhand spear with a Grass Crest Shield.

    I can't summon, my level is too high and i lack the humanity.
    Alright, so i got him down to 60% HP, i actually found a pattern too.
    Whenever he did his jumping attack, i'd do a pivot backstab (minus the backstab)
    However, then he informed me it wasn't going to work, because he can apparently chain jumping attacks together, and one shot me by doing a second jumping attack.

    he can chain em up to three times and if the first doesn't kill you he can continue comboing you with the spin jumps even if you get pancaked....
