The description makes reference to something called "The Dark Tales" and provides a quote about the fire keepers which apparently comes from it. However, I have never actually encountered any other references to these tales in the rest of the game. Does anyone have any information on them that I may have missed?

I don't have information on it, but I guess it's part of undead culture, much like the Chosen Undead "prophecy".
