by RANT Sat Feb 18, 2012 2:25 ami searched the wiki and couldnt find anything about it and i really wanna know, ive heard that crest and dragon crest are the best so i tried them and didnt really see a diff. what do you guys think?

If I am understanding your question correctly, no all medium shields share the same parry stats, only certain light shields extend parry time.

Crest, Dragon Crest, and Grass Crest for me, but maybe that is because I am used to them. I tried the Effigy and that isn't bad either, plus the lightning and magic resist on it are great!

The timing is the same but sometimes the shape of the shield gives you the delusion that some are better.

i love the effigy shield, the only reason i use it is because its the bes looking shield in my opinion and the res is nice too.

effigy is a small shield though and has less of a wind up on the parry animation... try the silver knight shield.

I like the heater shield because of the faster recovery time.

Shiva's iron shield. Looks great, has the best deflection of medium shields and can parry. Also has 100% physical damage protection. Win.

i see a lot of people using the silver knight sheield and heater shield, what makes them good? do they give you more time for the parry animation?, sorry i just started parrying during pvp and its a pain in the butt so far.

Silver Knight has the highest stability (76) of all medium shields and reflection wise is quite good, 100/40/75/60 going off my memory. Not sure why people use heater, perhaps weight? I think Silver is like 4 or 5 units, Heater I believe is 2.

The Heater Shield has a faster recovery time.
