This thread will be for those who want to introduce ideas for new weaponry or adjustments to current weaponry not including specifics on stats just stronger weaker faster slower. Let's keep it simple.

I wanna see a Katana that has 2 blades extending out of the same hilt side by side.

What if they added something like in the LOZ games when u fight Ganondorf, the magic balls of light you can hit back at him, that would be an interesting aspect with magic if you had magic weapons that could hit it back.

any way i think a bladed fan would be awesome, as would a combat staff, a flail, a machete, a butterfly axe (think bkga but battle axe sized), an ogre blade (polearm with long cutting blades on both sides of the haft), kukri knives (the masked dudes in the trailer might be wielding them!), katars, tonfa's, epee' rapiers (epic bleed), chakram (r2 would be a throwing attack, faster recovery if the move hits other wise it leaves you open till the blade returns).

like em all . how about a blade with a chain that can be shot out and retracted ?

Remember SoulCaliber 2? The "true" form of that thing was great. It be cool to get your opponent sword trapped between the two blades and snap it off. Add some bleed too and it be awesome.

Thats never going to happen but yea, it is cool.

Fine but keep the bleed and add a good move set and I'll use it. How about a hidden blade in an item that looks useless.

rifles/guns of some sort.....I have been playing Monster Hunter Tri (any Dark Souls fans should really try one of these games) and the bowgun in that is pretty cool, and well balanced compared to the other weapons/// that is one thing MH does REALLY well in my opinion, balancing of weapons is great...

I know this is gonna sound stupid... No, sorry RETARDED, but i'd like to see a bigger weapon variety. :|

Having said that, something that bothered me with Dark Souls was the weapon movesets. A whole lot of weapons seemed to just use the same weapon movesets, apart from the badass weapons, and that made me a little sad. While i do of course understand it would be a waste of time and too much work to go into detail on each and every weapons moveset one can always dream.

And while this is not specific for weapons, i'd like to see a more detailed (yes i said more detailed) damage system. Like a simple example being, big weapon = crush, dagger = stab. I don't know where i'm going with this, i'm tired, so imma abandon that idea.

Weapons? Hm... I would like to see better Straight Swords. I'm not saying they were bad, but in the end, i rarely ever used them and i just felt like they could've been better. I would also like to see more weapons that look like the Silver Knight weapons and give the same atmosphere as i loved the SK Sword, it kinda reminded me of LotR.

Id rather have more weapon balance than weapon selection. If we had all the weps we had now, id love to have each equal in PvP equality.

I think a shield bash would be epic as well FORWARD + BLOCK!
