I give you my dirty little secret! You don't have to one shot if 1 on 1 this build can go 1 on 1 and you can use a Enchanted +5 Long Sword if you want but this build is anti gank and kills in 1 hit most of the time, if you are not comfy with the TCC then you can use Logan's to still amazing results. Velkas and the GGSD is clutch if you want to set up a nasty trap. When I run into people looking for a 1 on 1 I use the Enchanted Long Sword +5 and don't really use magic but swap everything out for this: http://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/?c=489442545435169030

Tbh this is just the same as every Dark Mage build i have seen since DLC

I have had this way before the DLC lol but I see what you are getting at, but it is what it is lol this can one shot without Dark Magic plus it is a tool box build believe it or not.

the Problem people have with fighting mages is they are too scared to get up in a persons face, everytime i take on anymage i just get up close and personal, i have become very good at dodging magic

Same here, I run mostly Faith builds and I eat mages alive but what I fear most is someone that rolls towards me with no fear because it lets me know my magic is useless and this just turned into a brawl lol.

i kind of think those dark magic builds are a little overrated. i mean.. hidden body, pendant or just plain rolling into and iframing the pursuers are easy enough to do..

and for the dark bead they have to be point blank if they want to capitalize on damage so they either have to hit you in a frame you're locked into or hide their tactic as well as possible or they risk being roll stabbed, kicked, stabbed to a stagger.. fun stuff basically.

also, if theyre farther away a pendant will send them flying back. or a simple roll to iframe the darkbeads works too.

i don't know. seems kind of lame to me.

Bah.. Same old same old. To what satisfaction on winning like that?? Even against gankers.. Is it really that rewarding????

Exactly how i feel when i'm using my mage, but...exactly how i want to make YOU feel if i'm fighting a mage.

Honestly though a shortbow/darkmoon bow seems to be a mage killer. If i'm to far to close a gap i swap to a darkmoon bow and let a few darkmoon arrows fly. Damage is decent and i can interupt them. Or i can fire and roll faster then they can fire and roll. So if they want to play that game they'll lose.

This is my gank killer build and is all I ever dust it off for! I don't kill gankers for fun I do it out of hatred.
