Deleted my main character!

Yo, I know this sounds ridiculous, but I wasn't paying attention when I was logging in to dark souls, and I managed to effin' delete my main character. Is there any way to get it back? It is Dark Souls for PS3! Any input would be appreciated!

Dawg, you fo real? I played dat **** for 98hrs. And wtf, it gets deleted after you press one button? I should come like a warning or some sh**. You have to type DELETE, like you have to in wow and stuff

That's a bummer man, I am sorry to hear it....

On the plus side you can ask some people here to help offer some supplies and create a new build if you were not happy with that character.

That sucks, but it does ask for confirmation before the deletion. Oh well. It sucks that you lost 98 hours of gameplay but it could be worst. Could have over 500 hours of gameplay (I know there are some people with that much time on the game, I'm one. XD). I've nearly deleted my main save once, luckily I didn't hit the confirmation button.

haha, I was just leaning my head backwards, and when I looked at the screen, it said "deleting", and I freaked out. well since there isn't anything to do, I would love it if you could maybe suggest a build for me I want to play a tanky character, maybe start off as a knight. I don't want to end up in Havel's armor, but maybe like the elite knight set, or silver armor.

Again, I would appreciate all the help I could get. It will motivate me to start a new character for sure!

Well I don't have a full on tank but my guy wears:

Elite Knight Helm

Black Iron Armor

Giant Legging (yeah infamous legging but out all the other legging it looks the best. You could go with Black Iron Legging though)

Dark Gauntlets (or Gauntlets of Thorns)

Balder Shield

Zweihander
