EVENT: Ceaseless Assault - Feb 9, 2013 7PM EST - PS3 + Xbox + PC

I'm willing to host PS3. :>

Havel is ready to fight! Fear my slow walk towards you and my slow, easily parried attack!

I'm pretty sure I can host. I'll double check and let you know tomorrow. But, put me down as a tentative host.

You know what, I'll participate. I have one more free build slot left, anyways, so I might as well use it. I'll think up something silly to use; I'll probably using the Drake Sword to mess around with. Also, I can be host if the event still need some.

Ok. Just checked. I can host the event. I would like to do some PvP. But, we'll see how it goes when I'm there. I probably won't be able to log on until 10 EST though.

I would love to see Fire Tempest on that bridge, only for the sake of my curiosity., but I can do that alone. However I am bringing Force, because it's a part of some of my planned cosplay builds. I don't plan to DA it to knock people down from the bridge though. If I will want to do that, I'll just kick them while shouting "THIS IS LORDRAN!"

I got SL 70 (will level it up to 100 soon) who can host on PS3. If you don't mind the SL I can host. Of course, I won't fight with that SL, I got a SL 55 ready to PvP, but it can't host, so I will switch between them.

Out of interest anyone know what force or WoG does to Havels Shield.

Tickling at best.

FT is a little better than WoG because of the long wind up time. It still can be done as a wakeup. Force isn't bad, since it doesn't damage. This area is really small, and AoE spells are too much, IMO. Hell, we didn't allow them when we were duelling in the Blighttown pit.

I completely understand that. When I did a free for all in there it got extremely laggy, framerate dropped like a dead fly and I couldn't even aim at my opponents. Someone started throwing fireballs, so I joined, but I had absolutely no idea where I'm throwing them, but I think that I hit someone everytime and then I just unleashed FT and killed two of them.

Terrible. Never again.

So I should leave home all AoE spells, like FT, Fireballs etc, right?

Hmmm, I think only Force/WoG are frowned upon, but not exactly banned from the event. The last time I sparred in that arena (FFA), the host used Fire Tempest and it completely missed me and another red. Pretty funny actually! But like Reim said, FT has a long cast time and the arena is really small (smaller than BT pit if you don't count the long bridge), so it would be really easy to interrupt the cast. You just gotta remember not to roll off the arena... :o

Has anybody else tried out the Ceaseless arena yet? If there is interest, I can host some matches this weekend.

I wanted to give the area a shot but I got 0 invasions with my SL 55 in 15 minutes, so I gave up.

I would like to join in this, I can host if it is needed!!! Jolly Good Fighting!!

I'm gonna be using Fire Tempest. Beware the power of Ascended Flame +5!

Hm... alright, my char is still sl 55; I'll leave him at this sl for the first Guerilla event and this event, then level him up the last five for the second Guerilla event. Here's my build

My gear may vary. (especially rings) I plan to dual-wield with a Gold Tracer in my off-hand and light roll or ninja flip.

I prefer to not host and I cannot record anything.

I think you're crippling yourself with 24/25. You won't have a weapon that will outdamage elementals and you're investing way too many stats for such a low damage output. You might as well lower Str and go for 40 dex if you're going to make a stat scaling build.

yeah, i think i'll make a bridge troll (mythic monster not the human variant), wait... odes the pikes running attack work on the bridge or does an opponent blocking it send you off to one side and therefore off the bridge?

Just a quick question on the rules, if we are invaded by a darkmoon are we allowed to heal despite the rules? As I can host if people want I would not like to die due to a darkmoon invader. Also, if another person attacks ?the host are all members in the club allowed to attack.

I am currently making a SL50 for this, but I need way more Dragon Scales. Can anybody help me?

It really depends on the Darkmoon. Last event we had some participate and they would invade. It was fine and they had fun. If we keep getting DM invaders that are not cool maybe we'll have some fun with them!

Also, I am taking a small break tonight from Ni No Kuni and I am going to load my host and take a look around the ceaseless area. If there are any signs down before the fog gate I will summon for practice fights. It will be around 8:00PM EST.

count the Ascended into the event!
