Me, but I hate restarting a game everytime a 90% shot fails or an alien kills a valuable squadmate in full cover. Sometimes it feels it doesn't involve strategy at all, but luck. And not having better technology than plasma blows, I really wanted to literally melt the aliens by end game.

Well, when you have anything involving %, there is gonna be some luck. But I still love it.

I finished classic/ironman, tried impossible and couldn't deal with some countries leaving the council. Have to start again. :/

Good luck, you're going to need it lol. Try to build 2~3 satellites and a sat uplink by the end of the first month. It's the only way to make just 1 country leave the council instead or 2 or 3.

I finished the game, losing 7 countries. It becomes easier to manage your resources, and you don't lose as many soldiers on them BS terror missions, since you get less terror missions with less countries.

But use satellites to keep your countries, and if a country is panicked, do a mission there or in their continent, 'twill decrease the panic.

It's a fun and tense game though, if a lotta buggy.

I borrowed the game a few times, it's fun but it's a bit irritating at times. I just hate restarting a game because I messed up on one of the missions and a whole squad is dead.

It feels great when you win one of those difficult games with every type of alien in it.
