Probably already been done to death here, but i'll give it a stab on a few ones i wouldn't mind seeing. Names are generic just so ya know, not really put much thought into what i want them to be called.
Order of the Dragon - Simple straightforward cov like the Dragonbros, but with branching paths (a main theme of most of my cov ideas) of what kind of dragon you will want to be/appear as. Fire, divine/occult, sorcery, crystal, lightning, undead/gravelord path (poison/toxin) could be interesting. Either give it design by choice in leveling up in the cov, or be it what you have been choosing your upgrade path for weapons be the determining factor. Would be hard to pull off if you were varying your weapon upgrade paths though, i admit. Would provide some sweet variety in our dragon bros out there IMO.
AllFather Lloyd's Brigade - Call it a blending of Darkmoon/Sunbros/Princess Guard if you will. Always thought they should have been intertwined with branching paths. You join, and choose which path suits your wants. Faith is obviously the main criteria for this cov, but the gameplay would be unique to each branch. For example, i always thought Princess Gaurd in DkS should have been the ones called upon to avenge Gwynevere, as, well, their title alone as Princess Guard says as much! Obviously different things will be going on in the new game, so not sure how a blending would work schematically. Have your assassins obviously, along with the righteous for plenty of co-op opportunities?
Pinwheels Gentleman Society - Very stupid name, more for chuckles. A true necromancer's guild and total revamping somehow of the Gravelord cov. Maybe have it the only cov where you can do things like reanimate a few hollows and suck life from their dead souls? Poison and/or toxins should abound within this one. Maybe even faith could play a major role, with Occult paths on weapons being the standard, as that could add some lore with "fallen priests" or some such thing?
Merchant's Guild - An invasion guild that works on alot of the same levels as the Darkwraiths, but be a little like the Forest Hunter's Guild in that you acquire things from peoples inventories (invaded does not lose said item of course), but the twist is you bring said item to whatever merchant for souls/some other unique reward. Some of these items that you pilfered via invasion could possibly appear in your PSN/XBOX/PC Friend's worlds from time to time as items able to buy (that wouldn't have been there normally)? In a nutshell, you'd be a mercenary for the games merchants!
Painting Guardians - Obviously not literal, but i couldn't thnk of a name that i liked. Basically, this would be something akin to the Painting Guardians, not the actual characters as is. IF, and only IF, time travel is a main theme, maybe this cov could be something that tries to protect the fabric inbetween the realms or worlds? You enter something akin to the DLC big black Manus hand, and you have to face one (or a small wave if they get summoned in time) of these guys before trying to progress (provided they are wearing whatever it is to be summoned to said world). Be a small nightmare for some players, i'm sure, but be a nice twist to getting around in the universe.
Overall, these are just bland (very bland, sadly) rough ideas, and i'm sure many of you out there are much more informed at how better to incorporate covenant ideas. And obviously i want there to be many more covs than just these, but those are the only ideas i really have at the moment! So, be gentle, please! Lol!
