Help improve my build?

here is my build

I am pretty efficient with the forks, I am just wondering if there is a way to maybe increase the stats, or improve the armor while making still look badass.




He is called Fenton in the title, but the name Gus is also mentioned in the description. This is because I originally was going to name him Gus, but then I decided Fenton was better. When I changed all the names to fenton, I left in one Gus. So, I have decided that his name is Gus Fenton.

This gives you a lot better defenses with almost the same amount of poise...I assume you wanted at least 41 poise for combustions.

Why are you starting as a Wanderer? You get 6 extra levels starting as a Bandit.

Switch the hands of the plows, make the fire chaos instead. Add endurance to where u can have 53 poise

Here's a 53 poise version, you have to ditch the heavy crossbow for a light crossbow though.

Looks alright too.

I always keep aesthetics in mind when build building. You could wear a mask or that balder knight stuff to increase efficiency a little more, but I never do. Just personal preference.

Hollow warrior/balder legs/the ugly stuff. Chest pieces are kinda cool though.

Light armor, and one big clunky body piece = decent? xD The thief mask is one of the most flattering headpieces, but Havel's? Looks like a disaster.

Thats your opinion. I dont see how you hit 53 poise othwise. It was your suggestion, whats your build?

And btw, aren't you the one that made that sl 150 build with Havel chest and hollow legs? That thing hit like a truck! lol, but was pretty ugly too.

Anyway he has enough endurance to satisfy I dont see why he'd raise it.

Besides that the Black leather pants are prtty thick and look fine with most heavy armors...actually I'm not sure what your point even is.

Yeah the havels doesn't look all that great. I'm experimenting with different armor sets right now.

Imo, you dont actually NEED 53 poise either. 41 is not a bad breakpoint. Its my opinion if you are gonna have 53, you might as well go to 76, at the very least 61 for Black Flame. Not a lot of people one hand those weapons.

Still don't know why you're choosing a Wanderer. Are you going to make use of that Attunement at least?

Probably not. I just don't want to start the game all over again. If I were to, then yeah I'd use bandit.

Its a common breakpoint for larger weapons. Its not a bad idea, but I wouldn't say you need it seeing as how you're fast rolling and using a spear.

Poise benefits strength builds and slower weapons a lot more than other builds. It allows them to exchange hits.

Theres an entire chart about breakpoints, I'll see if I can find something for you.

Poise Break Points
Please note that some weapons do not obey this. E.g. the hand axe does not break 21 poise.
It has been found that certain weapon classes will stun people at very specific poise amounts. For example Ultra Greatswords, when used 2 handed, will stun anyone at 75 poise or less. So a poise of 76 will prevent you being stunlocked by a hit from an UGS. However these values will only save you from 1 hit. If you are hit again before your "poise bar" empties completely you will be stunned. The values listed are for 2 handed attacks, the values in the brackets refer to 1 handed attacks.
76 poise (51 for 1-handed resists):
All Ultra Greatswords 2h R1s
All Great Axes 2h R1s
All Great Blunt 2h R1s

53 poise (36 for 1-handed resists):
All Curved Greatsword 2h R1s
All Greatswords 2h R1s

31 poise (21 for 1-handed resists or fist weapons (confirmed)):

All Katana 2h R1s (including Washing Pole)
All Great Scythe 2h R1/R2s
All Whip 2h R1s
All Large Spear (Partisan/Pike) 2h R1s
All Small Spear (Silver Spear/Winged Spear) 2h R1s
All Halberd/Pole 2h R1s (figured this would have been 53, but it wasn't). (Black Knight Halberd 1h R1, confirmed by Devokai)

8 poise (6 poise for 1-hand resists)

53 is definitely a number to aim for if you can spare it. If not, settle for just 31.

Going to 41 also hits 36 though.
