Yeah, I'm almost done. It was awesome though. I even summoned some WSS phantoms for the hell of it.

I did film my matches. But with how busy I am this weekend, plus the fact I don't play with video editors often, it'll be a little while.

Thanks for showing up tonight everyone. I hope all had fun. I had a lot of great fights in my game and there are a ton of talented players. Lets do this again.

I just amazed i turned up and won any fights (though i kinda relied on pyromancy quite a lot

Well, I feel a little guilty for heading out so abruptly. I figure I will tell why. My wife came in around 10:45 and said "Do you know how much longer you will be playing...the kitchen sink is leaking downstairs and their is water on the floor." lol. Thankfully it was an easy fix. It only took about 15 minutes.

It was great seeing all the fun builds tonight. I forget all the names, but Smough was great, the egg burdened was awesome and all the dragons were fun to watch. We even had an appearance by Palidan Leeroy.

We will do this again so hold on to your builds.

Maximum respect to those few dragons and dragon weapon user's who got into the spirit of the event.

Sadly there were a few people over leveled, I won't name and shame anyone, but you know who you are.

I don't think I will be joining any future events like this as I don't find it much fun to wait and then get 1hit ko'ed (what's the point of banning the hornet ring but everyone just uses clubs and buffs and 1hit ko anyways(no I'm not asking for the hornet ring just amazed at the crazy logic)) some people were using triple buffs and all it takes is a lucky lag hit and game over, where's the fun?

Anyways I guess I'm the sad sack and the odd one out so will leave you to your fun.

i hate doing this but here we go, i did not enjoy this event very much, i though this was supposed to be a casual fc which for me means a lot of different builds and not like you see evrywhere on the regular pvp scene. insatead what i saw was people with, three damn buffs(pw,weapon buff and roar) going for a ohko bs or hit which is really not fun for me(or mosst people), i dont really mind much, i find it boring but it kinda bothers me that people did that seeign how there were people that were new to pvp and wanted to come here for a casual fight and none of the stuff you find everywhere else, yes you can say they have to get used to that anyway but if they wanted to go up against that what is the point of an even like this when you can just go to the arena or township for the same thing.

i really wanted to enjoy this but i didnt, the fun fights that were actualy fun were the ones against, fin, uparkam and flex(?)

Mil - I was using Triple buffs. But it came at a great cost. I had 0 poise, barely any defense, and very little endurance. The R2's animation is very long. Anyone could have interrupted my animation. I also could only 2H the weapon, which meant minimal blocking. I either won impressively, or lost just as impressively. IMO, it was a fair trade.

Sorry if you think I was having a go at you reim, I wasn't. You were using the dragon axe right? Which has a very high str requirement which made you make trade offs. The big clubs on the other hand didn't have to sacrifice as much and are faster. Maximum respect to you for using dragon body and dragon weapons.

Ps. I also forgot to mention the large amount of elemental weapons was also sad to see, far to few dragon weapons.

I had a very fun time doing this event (since it's was my first time), I actually didn't rly mind the buffs w/ the weapon and all, but I guess it did sort of went out of hand

I'm guessing maybe for the next event you guys should take out buffs to to help encourage creativity and also make the battles a bit more interesting.

Or limit the number of simultaneous buffs.

Rant and Mil, thanks for taking the time to post your thoughts about the event. At certain times tonight I had fights that were over so quickly that I was summoning about every minute. We will keep your feedback, plus any other in mind if/when we do this again. The goal is to make these events fun for everyone in the forums regardless of skill level, gear, builds, etc.

If anyone else has feedback about the event feel free to post in this thread. We would be interested in reading it.

this was fun but frustrating at the same time because of a few extremely high level gankers that were summoning the low levels waiting for the event and a few highly overleveled poise tanks that showed up. i think one of them was in Tinypanthas world. he used the SKS and full havels.

I was lucky enough not to get summoned by any gankers.

Thanks Baal. I still had a bit of fun, just saddened by the amount of over lvled and non dragon weapon toons(inb4 anyone asks if they were non wiki members, they were people on the event list) I guess to many people want to win no matter what.

Again maximum respect to those that really got into the spirit and theme of the event. They made my day.... Oh and catching up with some old FC members was a highlight.

Got summoned by gankers only twice, and got summoned two other times by high level guys who had no idea a fight club was happening. one of whom I beat so I know he was level 175.

Other than seeing a large number of spear users I had a great time.
