I buff my weapon with SLB and tried to do running jump attack on the host and get caught by what I believe was a Crystal Soul Spear to the face (I'm down to like 5%-10% health so I am hurt bad! :oops: ). I manage to get close enough to the host to land about 4-5 shots(I keep him stunlock after the first shot) with a SLB coated greatsword class weapon and he dies but I GET NO SOULS AT ALL AND NO ITEM. :shock:
This host must have had at least an intermediate SL (>=50) - this dude almost one shotted my butt and he took 4-5 shots from a SLB coated greatsword class weapon (2H @ 892 max damage per hit) before dying. If he was a hacker - I guess he did not make his toon strong enough

Has anyone, forest hunters specifically, experience this before? It must have been a glitch or I was fighting another hacker which makes 2 today.
