Explain "Mule"

hey guys, could someone explain to me what exactly "Mule" is?
i mean, from my understanding it allows a players by request to have his pvp gear for a new character without having him to farm and play through the whole game again, because of deleted save files or whatever,
can someone confirm or correct me? thx

Its sort of like the bottomless box glitch without actually doing the glitch. In other words, you get everything at the start of the game through trading instead of glitching.

You start with a character that has every item and tons of consumable souls and you trade it to someone (that you can trust). Then you start a new character and get to a point where you can summon someone. Summon the person that you traded with and Bam you have all the stuff from your other character and now you can beat the game easily.

It is very helpful for people that already beat the game and want to try new builds, but i would not recommend it to someone who is starting the game.
