PvP these days!

Invading somebodys world through red soapstone sign, thoughts- "Finally a nice fair fight." Reality- "Gets epicly destroyed by host and 2 other phantoms, is not even able to roll away from area where spawned due to nonstop staggering. Come on people, wheres a clean fight when you need one?

I'd get involved in the FC if you want a clean fight. Otherwise invasions should be all or nothing.

And by that I mean they will usually be all or nothing.

I totally agree, people are so scared sometimes. A 3 on 1 and they still don't feel confident enough.. lol. Fights shouldn't last less time than the loading screens.... that equals LAME

if youre invading you should expect the worse dude, you are the invader after all. join us in FC if you want a fair fight.

I always host now. Red sign is just an invite to get gangbanged these days.

@ryhemoth - Did I fight you yesterday and you killed me with the MGS when I thought I'd get away with a cheeky GMB, lol? Your name kinda sounds familiar.

probably dude, i do use the moonlight greatsword lately, im on XBL and i usually hang around the forest, so if both of those are confirmed then it was definetely me man lol

that sucks, where are you putting it down? kiln? try the area before the centepide demon, ive had some good fights there or just join us in blighttown.

Yeah I am putting it in the kiln, i heard that was supposed to be one of the best places for pvp, and yeah ill definetely check the fight club out man.

I feel your pain lately I've been invading in the Kiln with mixed results. Sometimes its a fair fight and other times its 2v1 or 3v1 and thats why I've been invading in front of the boss door so they can't jump me. Then for some reason the host or phantoms or both have tended to be over confident with his buddies helping him so I lead them to the bridge and blast them in the face with WOG. Theres nothing like seeing the host run back to the entrance looking for white signs as I stalk him then DMB buff on my Iaito and game over

He wasn't invading though, he was getting summoned as a red.

If you want fair PvP (how you define fair), you have 2 options. Host, and enforce your own rules, or join a group of people fighting with rules. FC is a great option for that.

Otherwise, you will run into jumpers, or other "cheap" methods. Part of the problem is so many people play this game, and cheap is very subjective. So, what may be fair to them may be cheap to you. But, there are people who do fight cheap (by any definition), and you'll run into them. Fight like crazy, run away, heal, do anything you can to win. It feels great to kill jumpers.

even if i get outnumbered from 3 to 1 half the time i invade

some don't even have skill meaning they're easy pickings for me >

if i can get out of the chain backstabs and WoG spams they're pretty much screwed against me!
