Went to Anor Londo again just to be sure and it only appears to be the UP I'm infected in. No GL sign anywhere and I've killed the gargoyke boss ... Any ideas?

You can be gravelorded even if you have killed the area boss, and are hollow. But if there is no GL sign anywhere you can try idling for 10 minutes without warping or resting at a bonfire. Supposedly the BPs will vanish and you will be ungravelorded automatically. If you warp or rest it resets the counter (which also does not run if the game is not loaded). Never had to resort to this myself, but it was pretty thoroughly discussed in one of the gravelording threads and seemed to work.

It only happens for a couple of weeks at most, I've been "permagravelorded" and had it go away after two or three weeks.

I could be wrong but I believe that if you can get a friend to GL your world and then go kill them I think that will clear it up.

I thought it was a standard for NG+7 or 8... Can you imagine if that was stadard? As soon as you enter NG+7 black phantoms become permanent!
