Yeah, I like the challenge of dueling but it does get boring (not to mention frustrating) sometimes.

Try getting more 1v2 or 1v3 in the forest that usually helps me for boredom.

I like the forest. There are always some good gankers to wipe the floor with. Set-up parrying their BKGA (most common ganker weapon I see) is always fun. 8)

My luck in the forest works like this: After a while of nothing, the minute I get an invader I am at a constant risk to get invaded en mass.

I would have went with the Iaito as well, Aim. I'm still going to be using the SKSS or C. Blade for my 55.
Dueling hasn't failed me yet. The Forest pissed me off one too many times to invade there anymore. I do host there every now and then though. It's given me insight on why some invasions werw so much easier than others when I had a fellow FH with me. (Forest Hunters are either good players with tryhard builds or new players that don't know what they're doing most of the time)
I really hope the LIVE problem is fixed soon, guys.

I love the forest as a host and despise it as a dm half the time. Last time I enjoyed being an invader there was chasing a host through the whole place while listening to Night of Nights. Ran through the whole place and I decided to go Sakuya and started throwing knives. hit him on the head, ran and killed him.

Me too because I might actually get to play tonight. I have another 55 build that uses the C. Blade too. The endurance on it is sickeningly low though....14

Now that I think about it, I remember realizing how stupid it felt to invade in the Forest (according to my needs). I grew tired of defeating gankers and then losing to lone hosts. The only thing the Forest was teaching me was BS fishing and counter BS-ing - my dueling skills became non-existant! And it's not like I could practice set-up parries or anything, I don't use a shield lol.
One thing I can thank the Forest for is learning toggle escaping. My reflexes for TS are so good I scare myself at times.
I understand many others like the Forest for what it is, it's just not my cup of tea any longer.

I enjoy it, for the fact that, thanks to you X, I can parry all of the idiots who think they can spam me to death with a katana. And, nearly everyone is worse than me, and I'm pretty bad.

I am not considered good at parrying. However when I end up doing it right, it would normally make me win the fight.

I mastered the parry timing to my blade and know two moves that are hard to parry. I'm more likely to parry you Renegade.

Katana are getting easier for me to parry as well. The only time I get trouble now is if my opponent can instadash.

I never make any moves. I'm too scared of that exact thing. I always end up turtling out of natural self-defence.
