beat the 4 Kings at SL1.

So I finally got them after like 20 runs. I actually got it recorded(though just by pointing a camera at my screen)

When I killed them on my SL1 run (succeeded 2nd try), I used the following:

Gwyndolin's hat (cuz Dusk's hat makes you far more vulnerable to magic)
painting guardian torso +0 and gloves +0
xanthous legs +5
bellowing dragoncrest ring
Ascended pyro flame +5
Balder Shield +12

What I did was circling around them, counter-clockwise, while blocking their attacks, and using (great) combustion between attacks. Most of their attacks completely missed me anyway, and the ones that did hit, got blocked for minimal health and stamina damage. The only things that posed a problem were the explosion (which my shield didn't protect me from that much) and the grab attack (which can't be blocked at all, and I never figured out the correct time to dodge it).

I also summoned Beatrice. She's not very useful, but if you step through the boss fog before she's summoned, the bosses won't get a hp boost. I'm not sure if it was this play-through or an other, but she once killed the last king for me during 1 of those annoying humanity drain grab moves. Saved me from losing a humanity

Very cool, and as RenegadeCop said, you make it look easy. I tried doing what you did and I just kept dying. I finally had to Havel tank it, which works, but doesn't look near as cool as dodging around.

With Havels armor this fight really is too easy, even on Sl1. I just did it yesterday, and it felt like cheating: twohanding the reinforced club and just wailing away and heal sometimes. I did not dare to try the dodge approach, looks cool!
