I HAS A QUESTION

I'm currently SL 137, and I haven't been getting very many invades/summons lately.

So, should I increase my SL to a certain number to get to where more people are (and if so, what SL), or should I stay here at 137?

Well I'm SL 185 and can't stop being invaded. As far as summons go I've been human constantly this playthrough and seen maybe 2 summon signs.

By "invaded" I was referring to invading another player, not vice versa. But thanks for the reply anyhow.

I would suggest staying at that lever and becoming a darkmoon so you can invade lower levels, because there wont be many people at all higher level than you.

Doesn't the Darkmoon have a level limit? I feel like that's what you're referring to.

no I'm saying being a darkwraith, you invade higher levels, of which there arent many.

As a darkmoon you can invade lower levels. So you'll get more action doing that.

However there has been no specified or proven limit to how low a darkmoon can invade, thats why im erring on the side of caution and saying stay at SL137

No we dont. It scans for similar levels first then moves up/down untill you get a match. you can invade a 22 or a 622 with the same character. the lowest i've seen with my 120 is 40.

only problem with darkmoon is that the character you're invading has to have sinned. As a result you'd get more invasions as a darkwraith if you were lower level, but at your level darkmoon has better chance of PvP

It's very easy to sin. I'm sure less than a quarter of the people who play try not to sin.

yeah sin you accumulate even by changing covenant without using oswald to leave one, so it's simple to do so.

Like I said though, due to your level that wont make much difference to your best choice of invasion method though.

Then I will venture back to Anor Londo and become a Darkmoon.
