by Major_kenny Mon Apr 29, 2013 5:33 pmSo yesterday I was playing Dark Souls and I had to download the new patch and it messed up a lot my graphics, sprites don't appear, sunlight blade buff is almost invisible, humanity enemies from the DLC near manus are invisible, etc. Did it also happen to any of you? Also any summon signs are invisible.

Are you on PS3 or PC?
I'm on PS3 and so far it seems to work fine besides a few graphical errors such as areas flashing, but I haven't had any problems with anything that could personally effect me.
Just re-download the patch and see if that helps.

Oh I forgot the platform xD PS3 it also works badly withh the bonfires etc its really a mess, looks like an old CD with too many scratches

I haven't seen anything like this, just the occasional flash of landscape, like a rock or two.

Yup it appears that the glitch issue from the past has returned. The one that had effected the DLC area and arena where signs, spells, and bonfires were glitchy on the screen. They would blink on and off graphically. It happend to me at 3 am in the forest. All of a sudden invaders using spells like soul spears, dark magic, and miracles, were invisible. You would see their toon doing the animation but the spell itself was not visible. PS3 recently had a software upgrade that was about a week after the 1.08 patch. Kinda similar to the issue when the DLC and patch happend then there was a PS3 system software upgrade that effected that as well. Dont think From's patches work well with PS3 upgrades to their operating system. I'm also guessing it may have something to also do with the resonance rings as well. Maybe the coding for those is the cause of conflict in the patch and upgrade. Just my opin.
