New Gaming PC/DayZ!!!

I just got my copy of ArmA 2 and my PC arrives tomorrow morning.I'm really excited so I will be downloading DayZ today to quickly transfer it in the morning.My specs are below,anyone got any other good games I should get?

16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1866MHz RAM
KFA2 GeForce GTX 670 2048MB GDDR5
Intel 330 Series 180GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
And a crapton of custom fans mounted in the case.

BF3, i'll meet you on craggy some night. Also with the mods\fixes dark souls is pretty good on pc apart from online being a bit quieter.

I might get Battlefield later on but I doubt I'll get Dark Souls again.There doesn't seem to be any advantage for having it on PC.My Skyrim shouldn't take too long,I also intend on getting Fallout 3 and New Vegas to complete my Fallout Collection on PC.

Check out the mods for skyrim\fallout etc on the nexus, there's some pretty cool stuff there.

I've been watching the Nexus for about two years,drooling over what I could never have.Needless to say,I'm excited.I saw the Vertibird mod and nearly crapped my pants,I love flying aircraft.

You should try the original Witcher game on pc, it's different you can pretty much do everything with just the basic mouse buttons, gfx might be a bit old but still worth checking out.

try Warframe its free also for dayz be sure to download dayz commander

Is DayZ Commander better than PlayWithSix(I think it's called)?

yea its alot easier to use and you can download all the extra maps from there along with any updates for Arma 2

Nope
I played DayZ a lot and I can tell you that many people don't betray nowadays, but still keep your guard up.
Also get a hatchet every time, hatchets are deadly against zombies, but weak against players.
Next always stay crouched, never run unless you are escaping, finally always go for Cherno and Elektro first, then for Northern Airfield.

You should check out boards.ie, there's a few irish clans and servers going around. I used be on the craggy one.

Dude, I'm an expert DayZ player and i'm giving you tips, Cherno and Elektro might be dangerous, but the loot there is worth it.

There are also a lot of lovely bandits,waiting to give me a nice hot cup of tea and a** ****.I'll be as far from the coast and those towns as I can be.I'm very paranoid that way.

its alot safer to just go to Balota and it has higher weapon spawns than the major cities. be sure to look up online maps as they will have all the info you need

I'd be a lot more likely to check that airfield.The cities are not worth the risk.High risk of death for mediocre loot or medium risk of death for mid-high quality loot?Think I know which is better for a fresh spawn.

Northern Airfield is king of the bandits, that's why you better loot good **** from Elektro and Cherno

there is 3 Airfields and hes not talking about North-west airfield

I'm not planning on getting too far inland at first.I'll be getting used to the controls and maybe finding a partner or team.I know how to play in theory,I'll just be putting it into practice.I'll likely look for a low population server and see if I can beat the average life expectancy of an hour.

I am officially f**king p**sed the hell off.My PC arrived today,I turn it on only to get a no signal message on my display.And when I finally got a hold of a phone,it was 5:30 and the guys who built it were closed.Now it's the weekend and I'll likely have to wait ages just to get support which will probably ask me to mail it right back to be repaired.I'm mad bro,very very mad.

What the hell what company did your order it from? I built my own PC if they didnt even check to see if it worked before shipping there is something wrong with that company

Overclockers in England.I could check all the parts and cables myself but that'd ruin my chances of having them replaced if those idiots screwed it up.I dropped 1800 Euro on that PC,I'm absolutely furious about the whole situation.I spent the whole morning bouncing off the walls about playing DayZ just to be disappointed.
