When you get Dark Anor Londo

You get attacked by a Berenike Knight, and a Balder Knight. These knights are also human.

Most people kill them, and walk on.

But I noticed this today, both Berenike Knights and Balder Knights never made it the Anor Londo, all of them hollowing at Sen's Fortress.

So, why are these knights there?

And then, on to the next question.

Why do they attack you?

The Firekeeper has a reason to attack you, she is a known Blade of the Darkmoon. But these knights show no ties to the Blades of the Darkmoon. They don't use the miracle, they aren't spirits of vengeance, they aren't using anything related to the Darkmoons. So why do they attack?

Why would Gwyndolin remove the fake statue of Gwyn?

I mean, he could just let his Darkmoon Blades murder you over and over again, but he decides to let his pathetic little body get destroyed by my Greatsword instead.

Maybe Pinwheel wants to die too.

And that's why they're easy bosses.

Another thing about Anor Londo

titanite Demons are Demons, which Gwyn's Black Knights fought.

So why do they have their own Pet titanite Demon in that room, and how did it get in that room, since the doorway is only big enough for a Silver Knight to go through at best.

No, it's been on my mind all day, I just haven't been at a computer to make a post.

Although the Knight in the Painted World has been bugging me too, why is he there?

Tarkus was a Knight of Berenike who got to Anor Londo. We see another one in the Painted World as well. So not all Knights of Berenike hollowed in Sen's. We can't be sure about the Balder Knights either.

Could have been gwyndolins illusion. Once the illusion has faded, you see the 2 bronze sentinels for what they really are.. just regular knights

Strictly speaking, I'm not sure that's entirely true. Lets not forget where it is that you find Black Iron Tarcus and one of his Berenike Knights. I believe they made it to Anor Londo, though just how far/how long they stayed is entirely up for debate. Tarcus definately seemed to be seeking out the Painted World. These other two may have simply been following along and were recruited by Gwyndolin or the brass firekeeper.

As for the knight it he painted world, he seems to be guarding Priciilla. That's just my interpretation of it, but it seems like he may simply be try to keep anyone else from attacking her, possibly after Tarcus was cut up by her (again, speculation due to the spot his corpse is found. He may have been bled dry but managed to jump off the ledge before dying, only to be finished off by the painting guardians outside.)

I'm more of a fan of Tarkus falling off of the beams above the painting and then his body being dragged there, personally.

It's more likely that he fell off.

This brings another point to hand.

Why is a Berenike Knight there, if only the Chosen Undead has the Doll, which is the only known way to enter?

What if the Berenike Knight is another "Chosen Undead", who did the same thing you did and grabbed the doll. And then he swore to protect Priscilla and then hollowed while doing so. Simply getting invaded by another player in the Painted World implies that the doll works on the same time warp deal as many other things in this game.

This is what I've thought as well. That those two were the two elite knights guarding the area and their illusion fades when the dawn fades.
