I'm seeing builds with TwoP attuned and peopla talking 'bout SG 2H R2 "special"...

I assumed that no miracles or magics or pyros were allowed, but that the stone greatsword was allowed. It weighs 18 units and you'll need at least 27str to use it, so you'll likely only see the fat rollers using it anyway, it lasts for 10 or 15secs and it's not hard to run away from if you're a light mover, and if you get caught in it well it just brings you back on par with the fatties

The builds with TWoP in them are jokes (well at least from me they are).

Holy crap, I love the variety of builds that are being shown. I can't wait for Sunday(in Australia) to see them in action! Seeing the variety here makes me think that after this event, we should have a lvl55 event that is all about ridiculous builds, the sort of crap that nobody would ever normally use.

Hey chilly, elemental wepeons were nerfed when the DLC came out, and are fairly weak now, although still do well on crits. Nothing wrong with elementals or vit builds, just a bunch of numbers to do what you like with, Elifia put it better than me.

TWOP is not allowed regardless of how you cast it. So not from a catalyst and not from a sword.

Elemental weapons were nerfed by ~10%, so were the family masks (actually I think they were nerfed by ~30%. Pretty sure MotM went from 15% hp to 10% hp boost).

The nerf was so that it brought vit gouge builds back in balance with scaling builds for the SL100 PvP meta, which then not many people used.
At SL120 they're a bit outclassed as a vit gouge build at SL120 suffers from a little too much diminishing returns with the MotM nerf and nerfed elemental weapons, but at SL100 they're still fairly balanced imo.

A lot of people cite that they were overpowered, but at SL120 this really wasn't the case, sure they weren't a pushover, but they weren't as OP as the community always makes them out to be.
A scaling build focusing in just Dex or just Str would almost always outclass them, even moreso with buffs.
The biggest hate came from mid level PvP where you would get people invading in Anor Londo and earlier with +5 lighting weapons and pumped vit. At this level they were definitely OP, but going to the Kiln at SL120 I found they were pretty on par with everything else there.
