EVENT: Warriors of Steel - May 25, 2013 - 7PM EST

@heretic every event is in a different spot and they usually pick good spots.

Well, that was a fun event, guys I would have preferred to see a little more fat/mid-rolling and less ninja-flipping, due to the theme of the event, but whatever

Uparkaam got a really nice win-streak once I made everyone fight with dropped weapons. I didn't keep count, but I think it was like 10 wins in a row, maybe more. I hope everyone enjoyed the odd weapon choices too, like dual-cestus, pick-axe, Vamos' hammer, etc

I got some good duels myself too, as Havel before I started hosting, and as Tarkus near the end of the event. Stabbing Brave with a Greatsword R2 for 1159 damage was really nice

I remember Walter and I in the chat were trying to figure out what was going on, I thought it might be glitched or something. I was like, "Why is he BS'ing so much? It seems to do less damage." I missed the obvious reason, not enough Dex haha. What is funny is I mostly dropped strength weapons. You got one of the few dex weapons.

2 out of the 3 weapons u drop were dex 4 me n i just happen 2 be on my str for the curve sword, still i love the battle axe fight was probs my fav out of this event or the good match billy gave me.

Yeah the Battle Axe fight was pretty great, there were a lot of great Raw Weapon fights. Broadswords, rapiers, spears, morning stars, long swords, warpicks.

Are there any plans for the next forum event? even though I was pretty unprepared for this one, I had great fun and I want a want of warning for the next one.

I hosted most of the time, and fought whoever was left after their three win streak. At the end I went 16 or 18 kills without dying with this build http://mmdks.com/2h2b and only died when Lati came and fought me. It was hilarious watching some of the fights, though a bit boring as I was the host. Wished I could have started at the beginning of the FC so I could have met more people. Looking forward to the next one, especially if it is lvl 55 again. I am king of the low levels!

Hi, I was there for couple of hours only but I've got teached a lesson never the less...

Murk destroyed me a few times which is very painfull because he's not so dominant around lvl 100 when we fight...

Rant, Fin, Shadowz...ggs, you are way better then me...

Thanks! I was better with my fat-roll Tarkus though. The Greatsword has a much better move-set.

I'm looking forward to the next event. Maybe a no-magic, no-fast-roll SL55 event on the rotating bridge in Anor Londo? That sounds like super-fun to me

Ggs to all thanks the Dibs and Fue for grabbing my sign, as always it was entertaining, Fue showed me some nice moves with dual comps, kept me amused between fights

I had such a great time.I had a bit slow start losing over and over again. Later I got a hold of myself and scored some parries.

Thanks to all of you for this event and especially the partial Golem setup guy who summoned me 80% of my fights.

@Elifia haha yeah my streak got pretty long in the end. I had some great fights in your world with those dropped weapons. (I still have 4 of them with me lol) Also yeah a fat-roll melee event would be totally awesome.

@Tolvo I enjoyed that raw broadsword fight that I had against er... someone (can't remember anymore haha). It was one of the best fights I had during the event. Would have liked more of those raw weapon fights.

Could have been me, i had a raw broadsword fight in tolvos world and i think i won all droped weapon fights i had in tolvos world.

Btw Tolvo...what did you gave my opponent in the first droped weapon fight i had in your world? I got a raw scimitar, that did at least some damage. But my way better opponent did around 17 damage to me with normal hits and crits did NOTHING at all. He parried&riposte me, bsed me 1000 times and nothing....idk

It sounds like everyone enjoyed the event! I like it when a plan comes together like this. Thanks to all the hosts for taking their time to let others enjoy the fights. Sometimes it is more fun to fight than host, so I appreciate you taking your time to do so.
