Dark Logan Build - First Build

I am quite fond of the lore behind Big Hat Logan and have often wondered what would have happened if he didn't go hollow in The Duke's Archives and found a way to obtain dark magics. This build was made with that in mind and is meant to be a PvP build using the Manus Catalyst.

It's an SL 125 build with the recommended or standard 40/40 set up. I wasn't sure what to do with the left over points after meeting all my basic requirements so I put the points in STR just for the extra damage.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Added Black Knight Gauntlets to reach 57 poise and still have my fast roll.

It's interesting, but I just wanted to point out that Logan uses the Scimitar and Small Leather shield if you didn't know what to pick for a shield and melee weapons.

I realized that when I made the build, and I tried it out some. I tried using CMW and still didn't like the scimitar; I also don't like the curved blade move set either. I figured since it was going to use ManusCat that I should try out a STR/INT build as I haven't seen those often.

Honestly I'm of the opinion that if you're going to cosplay stick as close to the source material as posible, otherwise you just end up with a guy wearing the sage robes that no one is going to realise is Logan. I always think of it like 'if I invade someone will they understand what I'm doing?'

Logan made it to the Dukes without using Dusks Crown, or the Grass Crest Shield, so I don't see any reason for him to swap, plus all the lore points to him liking very much his big hat, so I can't see him changing his most defining attribute.
The scimitar is a dex weapon as well, 45 dex will get you the quicker casting speeds and the TCC is available for an optional boost in damage, now I could see him maybe swapping it for the Moonlight Greatsword (but only through some notion that it would make him more like a Dragon) or even a rapier (Griggs uses the Mail Breaker and hails from the same school, so maybe they're favoured weapons of Vinheim), but not Kalameets tail, although the same could be said that it's because he wants to be a Dragon, however Kalameets magic is different to the Soul/Moonlight Magic of Logan/Seath).
The Wolf Ring is a little out of character but I wasn't really sure what else to put in there, and the poise doesn't hurt.

You could use an enchanted or magic scimitar so it has magic scaling.

I just realized that I got away from the cosplay part of making this build. I should have made two separate builds: one for Dark Logan and the other for my Int/Str build. Thank you for bringing me back to the cosplay part of it.

SL 125 just seems like too high a level for "builds". At that point you're entering the "Have stats in everything so whatever" territory.

That said, the build doesn't seem very Logan-y. It just looks like a standard mage set up.
