How To Hide A Razor Blade?

I posted a topic on how to avoid killing myself a day or two ago, and I wanted to say something.

After deciding that I would try not to kill myself, I went on to recording my observations, but it did not help at all, so I bought some razor blades and started cutting myself. The problem is that the girl I live with keeps finding them and disposing of them through either burning them, or just plain destroying them.

Is there a way I can hide the ones I buy that aren't used, so they won't get disposed of? I really just want to be alone in peace.

It's easy for us to say when were not going through the same things as you I know... Believe me I know.

But please don't do this. Log on when your feeling lonely, sad etc. Come join the chatroom. Theres a whole community here ready to help you get through this. And we're not ready to see you go from the forum.

Just trying to light things up by changing the subject, because I agree with Hart.

Satochi coming from a person that used to cut themself quite badly, just try to find some ways to keep your mind off things. Try and get some books, or even look up books online. Perhaps try writing poetry, or renting some movies. Or even watching some videos on youtube.

Also, could it be that you're in a rut where you live? You could try moving somewhere, a change of scenery might help.

Cutting yourself isn't going to help you Satoshi.

If you need to vent we're here, and I'm sure your friend would be there for you too.

Ermergerd! Yes! I love comedy. Don't like to read much unless it has pictures to go with.
But I totally agree with this.

I used to self-mutilate quite a bit when I was younger, it helped distract me from everything but eventually I stopped because it became to hard to hide both my cuts and my bruises.
Trust me, it might seem like a good option at first but it's only short term. So I would advise against cutting yourself and go for a different approach. Many approaches to dealing with the situation that you seem to be in (I haven't read your thread yet, sorry) have already been listed here, I myself let out my anger via punching bag. Sometimes I bruise my knuckles if I go for too long but it helps a lot more than cutting.

Here's what I propose you do satoshi.

You yourself gather up the razor blades you keep hiding from the person you're living with.

If need be, you do this with her for support- but get rid of all of them. Throw them in a bin, burn them, take them to a skip. Anything. The most important part though is that you do it yourself, unprompted.

It's only once you beat these urges to hurt yourself, to shy away from things and to give up that you can start moving forward. Overcome it, we all know you can do it.

as alot of other people have said you will feel better after a while but belive me when i say that cutting will not make the situasion any better for either you and you are making your friend woried.
